About Tina

  • Tina has been providing therapy for twenty years, with 18 of those years in Fort McMurray. She holds a Master of Social Work (Clinical) and is a Registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers. She has extensive training and certification in trauma treatment.

  • She works with, but is not limited to, people experiencing, anxiety, depression, complex trauma, PTSD, grief & loss, workplace issues, relationship & attachment issues, couples and children.

  • Her practice is built on the belief that a person is the expert of their life and holds the innate capacity to heal. She believes that a therapist is a guide that provides a safe and structured environment to allow the person to discover this innate ability.

  • Tina has extensive training and a special interest in working with trauma from an attachment lens, to help the individual (adult/child) integrate and heal the hurts or the past that show up in their day to day functioning, allowing for healing, growth and empowerment.
