About Salome

  • Salome is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She holds a Master of Science degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology from Leiden University in the Netherlands (2007). She also holds a Master of Counselling degree from Athabasca University (2020). She provides both in-person and virtual therapy in Alberta.

  • She has over 20 years of professional experience working around the globe as an educator, counsellor or psychologist. This diverse resume provides an adaptable approach to therapy.

  • Salome is trained in a number of modalities including EMDR, EFT, EFFT, CBT, DBT, SFT, MBCT, and Narrative Therapy to name a few. She works with various populations from children and adolescents to the adult population.

  • She is experienced in dealing with many health issues including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, ADHD, BPD, career planning, PTSD, and complex trauma. She is also experienced in Assessment and Testing in children and adults.

Childhood Giftedness Assessments (fees often covered by insurance companies)

Age: 7-18

1)    Gifted Assessment without Academic Assessment $900

2)    Gifted Assessment including Academic Assessment $1500

3)    Gifted Assessment opt out if child does not meet gifted criteria $500 (no report included)

Intelligence (IQ) Assessments

Age: 6 -90 years

1)    Intelligence Assessment only with Report and Debrief $1000

ADHD Screening only Assessment

Age :Child to Adult

1)    Screening intake only: $210

2)    Screening with Executive skills assessment and targeted planning: pay per session

Career Planning

1)    Cognitive Assessment with Career Planning report and debrief session: $1750

2)    Career Planning report and debrief session: $750
