About Shannon
Shannon is a Registered Social Worker with Alberta College of Social Workers, and holds a Masters of Social Work. She provides services both in-person and virtually in Alberta, as well as virtually in Nova Scotia.
She has a passion for working in health and wellness, and works in a collaborative way with clients to develop a treatment plan that supports their goals. She works with, but is not limited to, people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and couples issues.
Her practice is built on her ability to work with client’s to develop a strong rapport to create a safe, inclusive, and validating environment that allows clients to feel comfortable and work toward addressing stressors that are impacting their lives.
Shannon has a special interest in working with trauma, perinatal mental health, grief and loss, and relationship struggles. She is also passionate about supporting people on their self-growth journey.
Shannon is Certified in Psychological Health & Safety and is able to work with organizations to help increase and foster a psychologically healthy workplace.
