Jeneatte is a trained Art Psychotherapist who focuses on bottom-up, client-led approaches. She’s also skilled in integrating a variety of therapeutic modalities in the art therapy room. Dedicated to fostering healing and self-discovery, she helps individuals explore their inner world through creative and compassionate methods.
Jeneatte is a professionally trained artist with over 15 years of experience facilitating group art workshops in Fort McMurray, fostering creativity and community connection. Alongside her extensive background in Project Management within the Oil and Gas sector, she has developed a deep understanding of collaboration and leadership. Currently completing her master’s studies in Art Psychotherapy, Jeneatte has shifted her focus to integrating her artistic expertise with therapeutic practices. For the past year, she has been facilitating one-on-one and group Art Psychotherapy sessions, helping individuals explore healing and self-discovery through creative expression.
Through a compassionate, client-led approach that blends artistic expertise with therapeutic techniques, Jeneatte provides a safe and nurturing space for healing, self-discovery.
Fun Facts: When Jeneatte isn’t in the art therapy room, she’s usually out exploring the Birchwood Trails with her partner, four kids, and their Bernedoodle where they often engage in community land-art projects together for fun. Outside of that Jeneatte enjoys maintaining her own personal art practice; drawing, painting and being creative as often as possible. On a quiet day, you can find her painting portraits and rewatching her favourite horror & thriller genre movies.
