Alexis Dreyer (She/Her/Hers)

Alexis is a Registered Social Worker with over 21 years of therapy experience. She has worked in a variety of mental health roles, including mental health therapist for adults, children, couples, families and adolescents. Her approach is client-centred and non-judgmental, and she has extensive experience working with diverse populations experiencing many mental health needs, including but not limited to ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD and complex trauma, OCD, workplace stress and chronic pain.


Alexis has been in the field of mental health since 2001. She received a Bachelors of Social Work from Thompson Rivers University and then a Masters in Clinical Social Work from University of Calgary in 2004.


Alexis believes that creating a strong connection with her clients is imperative to supporting healing and change. She wants to walk beside clients as they journey through the therapy process. Alexis also believes there is a strong mind/body connection and works at supporting her clients to integrate different somatic strategies to help with healing.


Fun Facts: Alexis has two amazing kids! She also has two rescue animals a dog named Tennessee and a cat named Nashville.
